      Astrio é unha caixa de sorpresas. Causa adicción. É difícil encontrar, no panorama musical do país, unha banda cun directo tan atractivo, poderoso, distintivo e sorprendente como o deste tridente de excelentes músicos.

      Desde o seu nacemento, hai 10 anos, foi un grupo en constante renovación; aquel que seguise a súa traxectoria pode dar testemuño da progresiva, silenciosa e teimuda transformación da súa música. Lonxe queda o groove dos primeiros tempos, relativamente intelectual, deliberadamente complexo, baseado na nostalxia do Hammond.

      Don't Leave The Planet, o seu terceiro e último traballo, non fai outra cousa que confirma-lo estalido desta progresión; suporá un paso máis na constante evolución da banda, dotada dun estilo propio, que perde as gravatas polo camiño pero mantén inalterado o espírito transgresor do seu jazz. O seu directo segue enganchando.

      É esta versatilidade do grupo a que o levou a tocar en contextos tan diferentes como festivais de jazz, de música electrónica, de rock ou en discotecas e pequenos clubs; polo mesmo “chega” a un público moi heteroxéneo. Calquera descrición da súa posta en escena quedaría curta, só nos resta esperar que non desaproveitéde-la oportunidade de escoitalo en directo.
