      Esta fin de semana continúa no Patio 1 da planta baixa do MARCO ‘Material Memoria’, o programa de artes escénicas e cine comisariado por Pablo Fidalgo Lareo dentro da exposición VERANEANTES. Nesta ocasión, proxectarase a película Ensayo final para utopía, do cineasta hispano-venezolano Andrés Duque, que no pase do venres será presentada por José Manuel López, profesor do curso de cine que actualmente ten lugar no MARCO.

       

       

      Mentres acompaña o seu pai enfermo nun hospital de Venezuela, os pensamentos de Andrés Duque viaxan a Mozambique. Alí, algunhas imaxes de danza e da revolución —algunhas recuperadas e outras gravadas por el— evocan unha realidade alternativa onde o mundo espectral participa nunha fervenza de movementos excitantes.

       

       

       

      Andrés Duque é un cineasta hispano-venezolano. O seu traballo máis coñecido é Iván Z, un retrato do autor de culto Iván Zulueta que lle valeu unha nominación aos premios Goya da Academia. En 2011 realiza a súa primeira longametraxe Color perro que huye, estreada no Festival International de Cine de Róterdan e obtivo o premio do público no Festival Internacional de Cine Punto de Vista. En 2012 é un dos autores convidados ao prestixioso seminario Flaherty que se celebra en Nova York. En 2013 recibe o Premi Ciutat de Barcelona polo seu filme Ensayo final para utopía. A súa filmografía inclúe: Paralelo 10 (2005, corto doc), Landscapes in a Truck (2006, corto doc), La constelación Bartleby (2007, corto), Life Between Worlds Not in Fixed Reality (2008, corto doc), All You Zombies (2008, corto doc), No es la imagen es el objeto (2009, corto), Color perro que huye (2011, doc) e Ensayo final para utopía (2012, doc).
